I never took typing in school. I pretty much learned to type while using the computer. I always wondered how fast I was because sometimes I can really get going, others I hunt and peck. Frankly, I didn't care enough to go test myself until I came across this post. AHA - someone has done he work for me! WOOHOO, since I am in a testing mode, let's see how I did...

Is that good? I took it twice, the first time I got a 68 with 4 words wrong. Then I got this one, with 0 words wrong :) Not bad for someone who never learned the correct finger position. Certainly not 90+ but hey, could be worse. I love computers...hehe

That's a good rate! I took a typing test earlier this year and came up with 27 wpm (but no errors) My boss wasn't impressed though.

My husband type with just one finger and is pretty fast even so. I'm so glad I took typing in high school. It is one thing I do well, even years later.
