I love books

So when I saw this post on Cherrye's blog I had to do it. I read a ton, though after looking at the list, I see I am missing a lot! Books to me are windows into other lives, worlds and places. I can read a whole book in a day if I have the time. Both Stef and I love books so wherever we live, we needs lots of bookshelves!

Oh, if you get the chance, read anything from Wally Lamb and Rohinton Mistry you can find. Both wonderful writers! (Although be warned that Mistry's books will paint a rich portrait of India and create characters you love, but may ultimately leave you heartbroken.)

Love the list! I'll put my version of it up in a couple days. :)

oh, and I think if you love lord of the rings and all that geeky stuff (I am a geek too, so I can say it) you would LOVE Mists of Avalon by Marion Zimmer Bradley - it the King Arthur story told by the women in his life. Awesome read! And don't be daunted by the number of pages, it is a quick read as you can't put it down! :)

That is quite a list! Sadly enough for me, english books (a good variety anyway) is hard to come by.

Thanks for the belated bday wishes to Maddie. Certainly, she would have loved to keep that hedgehog around, but we figureed that we already have one animal that likes to dig around our plants!

You are just about done with this list. Maybe you should start us another 100 to check off!
